The Your Business e-Zine Blog
It's safe to say that I'm not the only person that is always looking for the latest news, releases, blog posts, and twitter status updates, everywhere i go. Not only that but the only real "me" time I get is when I'm on the train or waiting for my appointment, so I want everything on my mobile and I want it to work fast.
The good thing about technology these days is that my needs are easily met. Using my mobile phone I access my apps for social networking and i use my mobile browser to read my RSS subscriptions. With this in mind, I had to ensure that Your Business eZine offered the same easy functionality. Because of the simple design, mobile browsing is made easy, but the effective use of RSS feeds it has simplified the experience further. Including cutting down on data usage, therefore cutting costs on your monthly bills, as RSS will only load and display plain text and in some cases one small image.
Browser
Using a mobile browser is easy, simply point you browser to http://www.yourbusinessezine.com as you would on your desktop/laptop and you will see the standard Your Business eZine home page. from there you can navigate around the site easily.
Should you know exactly what you want then you can go directly to the information via the RSS feeds. Again, this is really simple. Instead of pointing your browser to http://www.yourbusinessezine.com you can go straight to the list of articles (e.g. Articles in Liverpool) by pointing your browser (in the same way you would type the web address) to http://www.yourbusinessezine.com/feeds/articles/Liverpool. This also works for your desktop/laptop browser too.
Apps
Apps are another way to simplify the reading experience. If we take the Google app for example... With your iGoogle account you can use a free service called Google reader. Google reader is run in your browser and it works by entering a URL (web address) into a field and Google scans the site for RSS feeds. You will then be presented with feeds to which you can subscribe to. Once you have subscribed to the feeds you will be constantly updated with new content from your favourite site(s). Google's mobile app has the google Reader functionality and will constantly keep the latest feeds from your favourite sites available at your fingertips for as long as you have internet access.
There are also lots of other apps out there that do the same thing our have their own cataloge of feeds for you to read. Viigo is one example with over 2.5 million users in the UK alone.
So rest assured because now with your smartphone, you'll never miss out on the latest information, stories, features, and news from Your Business eZine.
